I think that there is a right kind of trench coat to flatter almost any type of body-shape. Personally I like the cropped or up-to-the-waist length ones, but I love how these celebrities can pull off the longer ones and still look thin!
In my opinion, trench coats are very versatile, you don't always have to save them for a rainy day. Since it's almost winter, there are a ton of ways to dress them up or down. You can wear it with a fancy dress underneath with heels or just with some flats, skinny jeans, and a comfy top... and you can never go wrong by throwing in a cute scarf as well!
