January 1, 2012: Walking around downtown Los Gatos, we stepped into Powell's Candy Shop. We paid $2 for this cotton candy just before dinner at Pizza My Heart because we were so curious to see how the cotton candy vending machine worked!
January 2, 2012: Pizza My Heart for two days in a row, this is a slice of one of my favorite Big Sur pizza! I've forgotten about how good their pizzas were... it's making it harder for me to try and eat healthier!!
January 3, 2012: I took my first swatch photo for this nail polish from OPI called Black Cherry Chutney from the 2008 Spring collection called India. I've heard a lot of good things about this color so when I saw it at the nail supply store I go to, I knew I had to pick this up! But since I don't really plan on featuring nail polish swatches on my blog, I decided to hand the photos over to my dear friend Ana's blog, The Girl in Seafoam Green and you can see the full post here!
January 4, 2012: Today I met up spontaneously with Karen, a good friend of mine since high school while she was getting her car maintenance. For dinner, we met up with another friend of our's, Jessica, and headed to Falafel's Drive In to get one of the most amazing falafels on Earth. It never fails to disappoint me & their banana shake is heavenly as well!
January 5, 2012: Today, I wanted to go for a bold lip look; so I decided to try one of my new Revlon matte lipstick in color In The Red. My dad thinks it's hideous but my mom and brother likes it... so whatever!
January 6, 2012: The reason why I love being home is because of my mom's home cooking :) Even though this is a simple box curry, I love the way she makes it!
January 7, 2012: Finally got my iPhone 4S! I'm so glad I can throw my HTC Droid Incredible now, I hate that phone!! Now time to educate myself on all the cool features and apps for this phone.
