Product Review: MAC Matchmaster SPF 15 Foundation

My review on the Josie Maran Aragan Match Maker Serum Foundation, Make Up For Ever HD Foundation, Chanel Perfection Lumiere Foundation.

I decided to give MAC's foundation a try despite all the horrible things I've heard from my friends in the past because the few times I've stopped someone in the middle of the streets to compliment on their complexion, they've told me that they're wearing MAC!

I figured this might be a little heavy for me to wear on a daily basis but I needed something that would give me a good coverage as well as a matte finish for certain night-outs where I'd be taking lots of photos throughout the night. This foundation does just that, it gives me a flawless coverage and helps control my oil problem. It doesn't stay matte all night, but it significantly delays the first signs of greasiness on my face up to 4 hours! I am about NC 30/25 and I am in color 1.5 for this foundation.

And even when I notice a little shine on my face, it doesn't get bad to the point where I feel compelled to use my Clean & Clear blotting papers for up to 6 hours. 

Thank God, my skin is one tough cookie because I haven't experienced any breakouts from using this foundation!  The consistency of this foundation is the thickest of all four of my foundations, but it's still pretty easy to blend.

PROS:

1. Medium to full coverage

2. The pump has a protective stopper, prevents accidental pumps when traveling

3. Cheapest of the foundations I have

4. The shade number 1.5 fits perfectly with my current skin color

5. Protects your skin from the sun with SPF 15

CONS:

1. May cause breakouts on sensitive skin

2. Scented like baby-wipes

3. Comes in a limited number of shades, but it's supposed to adapt to your skin color

4. Has a glass container, be careful!

5. Has a slight tendency to set in the fine lines under my eyes :(
6. Claims to provide a "demi-matte" finish, but doesn't really last long before the shine comes back on my face
