New Year's Beauty & Health Resolutions

I know that a New Year's resolution is cliche but I was inspired by Lauren Conrad's Beauty Resolution to make my own list of things I know I should be doing in order to take better care of myself and my body. Throughout this past year, I've realized that I'm not really good at keeping up with a goal because I tend to get lazy... but I intend to break out of that habit and force myself to finish projects and work more diligently towards my goals.

In 2012, I vow to:

Take better care of my skin by sticking to my skin care routine (no skipping!) and consciously drinking more water.

Steer away from fast food, junk food, and late-night snacking; if I must eat, find a healthier alternative.

Incorporate exercising at least three times a week (even better if I can work out with Josh on the weekends).

Eat out less on the weekend & cook a healthier, smaller portion meal more often.

Blow-dry less and opt for a natural drying process for my hair.

Strive to look put-together every morning!

Wake-up early enough to grab at least a small breakfast before class.

Keep my nails & toenails either well groomed or with no polish at all, avoid tacky chipped nails!

Experiment with more color in my make up routine.

Smell nice, every day.

Clean my makeup brushes every week.

Eat more fruits & vegetables, learn to enjoy them.

Learn to be more comfortable in front of a video camera, for YouTube!

Stop impulse shopping; buy one good product as opposed to buying a lot of cheap and mediocre things.
